I Take Risks
In this project I tried mixing two completely different things and morphing them into one. I wasn't sure about it because they are so different. One is plain and simple and the other is detailed and realistic. I didn't know if I would be able to pull it off and if I could find a creative way to mix them together while making sure you could tell what two things were mixed and keeping it neat and not messy and sloppy. I stayed with using pencil although I was considering incorporating chalk pastels into it. I decided not to because I'm not too familiar with them and I felt like it might be too messy. Overall it turned out okay and I think it worked.
I Solve Problems
I came across a couple challenges while I was working on this project. I couldn't figure out how to mix the two things together neatly. So I took a break from working on it for a while and worked on other projects so maybe I could get some inspiration. Then I started working on it again and I figured out something. Then I messed up and before I fixed it I realized I could make it better by utilizing that mistake. So I made it into something better. That says that sometimes mistakes are a good thing.
